LA 1 at LA 3089 Signalization
This task order is a planning effort to facilitate better traffic flow along LA 1 and LA 3089 in and around Donaldsonville. Now complete, the study results have been implemented by the LA DOTD for better traffic flow.
LA 73 Intersection Analysis
This project is a study of traffic and intersections at several locations on LA 73 (Old Jefferson Hwy.) and LA 74. Parish staff analyzed these intersections seeking the most appropriate intersection solutions - such as turn lanes, roundabouts or signalization.
LA 73 Turn Lane at Brown Rd
Turn lanes will be added to Hwy. 73 southbound at Brown Road.
LA 73 Turn Lane at Henry Road
This project will add a turn lane on Hwy. 73 southbound at Henry Road.
LA 73 Turn Lanes at Oakland Dr
Turn lanes will be added to Hwy. 73 southbound at Oakland Drive. Turn lanes will also be added from Oakland onto LA 73.
Parker Rd. at PR 929 (Hornsby Rd.) Roundabout
A roundabout will be installed at the intersection of Parish Road 929 (Hornsby Rd.) and Parker Road, replacing the 4-way stop. This will improve traffic flow through the intersection.
Roddy Rd Safety Widening (LA 935 to LA 621)
This 1-1/2 mile segment of the Roddy Road corridor from LA 935 (Churchpoint Rd.) to LA 621 (Cante Rd.) is to be widened to improve safety. The project includes a new bridge over Black Bayou.
Roddy Rd Safety Widening (US 61 to LA 935)
This 1.3 mile section of Roddy Rd. from US 61 (Airline Hwy.) to LA 935 will be widened to improve safety. The project includes new bridges over the New River Canal and Bayou Narcisse and intersection improvements.
Roddy Road at LA 621 Roundabout
This project replaces a 4-way stop-controlled intersection at LA 621 and Roddy Road (LA 932) with a roundabout. Located near Central Middle School, this project will improve traffic flow through the intersection.

This project replaces a 4-way stop-controlled intersection at LA 931 and Roddy Road with a roundabout to improve traffic flow through the intersection.
