This project will widen 2 miles of Germany Road from Hwy. 44 to US 61 providing safety improvements.
This portion of the project comprises the earthwork - the “clearing and grubbing” of right-of-way to implement the safety widening of the 1-1/2 mile segment of Henry Road from Hwy 73 to Hwy 930.
A 1-1/2 mile segment of Henry Road from Hwy 73 to Hwy 930, and continuing on West Lane from Hwy 930 to Tillotson Road will be widened for safety. The bridge over Muddy Creek will be replaced with a box culvert for improved channel flow.
This project will construct a roundabout at the intersection of Parish Road 929 and Braud Road, replacing the 4-way stop. This will improve traffic flow through the intersection.
This project will upgrade a 4-way stop-controlled intersection at Parish Road 929 and Hwy 930 to a roundabout to improve traffic flow through the intersection.
This study was an analysis and re-design of a small, 1,500 foot portion of the “Hwy 930 Widening and Safety Improvements Project”, developed by LA DOTD. The study allowed avoidance of $2M in pipeline relocation costs.

This project replaces a 4-way stop-controlled intersection at LA 933 and Joe Sevario Rd. (LA 932) with a roundabout. Located near the Galvex Middle School, this project will improve traffic flow through the intersection.
