The U.S. Clean Water Act as ammended in 1972 forms the basis for regulation of activities in wetlands and waters of the United States. Any entity, public or private, individual or corporate, who intends to work, discharge, dredge or fill material into wetlands or waters of the United States must first obtain a permit to do so.
A right-of-way (ROW) is a type of easement granted or reserved over the land for transportation purposes, such as a highway, public sidewalk, or bike path. ROWs may also be established for utility purposes such as drainage ditches or pipes, electrical transmission lines, telecommunications lines, or oil and gas pipelines.
This project will upgrade a 4-way stop-controlled intersection at Braud Road and Germany Road to a roundabout which will improve traffic flow through the intersection.
This task order is a planning effort to facilitate better traffic flow along Airline Highway - one of Ascension Parish’s major corridors. The signalization of 19 intersections was studied.
A new 2-lane roadway connector is now complete from S. St. Landry Ave. to Ashland Road just above Lamar Dixon Expo Center. The project is about one-half mile in length.
Babin Road west of Airline Highway crosses the railroad track and then Bayou Narcisse as it proceeds to K.C. Road. This project will replace the bridge over Bayou Narcisse.
This project will widen C Braud Rd. for safety improvement from Bluff Road to LA Hwy 73. The project is approximately 1 mile in length.
This improvement will construct a new roundabout at the intersection Churchpoint and Roddy Roads. Final Design and necessary utility relocations are complete.
This project will widen Duplessis Rd. from US 61 (Airline Highway) to LA 73.
