Safety widening of Roddy Rd from US 61- LA935, new bridges over new River Canal and Bayou Narcisse. Intersections improvements include a Left turn at LA 429 East, West, and Northbound, Right turn at 429 on North and southbound approaches. Intersection improvements at LA 935 have been removed from the scope of the project as they are not warranted at this time, per DOTD.
Listed as part 1 of the Roddy Road Corridor Project, this segment is to be widened for safety from US 61 to LA 935 with new bridges over New River Canal and Bayou Narcisse. Intersection improvements include:
The addition of Left turn lanes at Roddy/LA 429 on Eastbound, Westbound and Northbound approaches.
The addition of Right turn lanes at Roddy/LA 429 on the Northbound and Southbound approaches.
The addition of Left turn lanes at Roddy/LA 935 on Eastbound, Northbound and Southbound approaches.
The addition of Right turn lanes at Roddy/LA 935 on the Northbound approach.
